Offered LIVESTREAM or in-person in San Luis Obispo!
This workshop is a deeply reverent, trauma-informed, and accessible practice with a heart-centered theme honoring the body-mind as sacred. Drawing on an understanding of the body as a non-linear, multi-dimensional and dynamic system, this practice emphasizes resilience and adaptability.
Students will be guided through a gentle yoga practice and learnĀ a system of simple self-myofascial release techniques designed to release restrictions in the body-wide connective tissue (fascia), reduce soreness, pain, and fatigue, provide resilience in the entire body-mind-spirit system, improve mobility, and optimize the benefits of your yoga practice.
We will use specialized myofascial (massage) balls to apply therapeutic pressure into the muscles and fascia, helping to restore their natural strength and mobility. These practices are designed to support longevity and ease of movement.
This workshop will offer an integration of fluid alignment principles, curiosity, gentle movement as meditation, and an embodied celebration of the divinity that exists within us all.
These practices can help you to:
What you will need: a yoga mat, water bottle, layers of clothing (for temperature changes), and one lightweight blanket. For livestream students you will also need two tennis balls in a sock (tied off at the end) or two 2.5″ myofascial balls in a tote.
I hope you will join me for an experience devoted to your well-being!
