Reverence Online Yoga & Myofascial Release Classes are deeply reverent and trauma-informed. Threading timeless wisdom teachings and heart-centered themes honoring the roots of yoga as a living tradition.
Drawing on an understanding of the body as a non-linear, multi-dimensional and dynamic system, this practice is for all levels and emphasizes resilience and adaptability.
Interwoven throughout a gentle, beginner friendly yoga practice, students will learn a system of simple techniques designed to release restrictions in the body-wide connective tissue (fascia), reduce soreness, pain, and fatigue, provide resilience in the entire body-mind-spirit system, improve mobility, and optimize the benefits of your yoga and movement practices.
We will use specialized myofascial (massage) balls to apply therapeutic pressure into the muscles and fascia, helping to restore their natural strength and mobility. These practices are designed to support longevity and ease of movement.
Reverence Online classes offer an integration of fluid alignment principles, curiosity, movement as meditation, and an embodied celebration of the divinity that exists within us all.
These practices can help you to:
- transition your body-mind into a rest and assimilate mode
- attune to and cultivate safety within your body
- release physical, emotional, and energetic restrictions
- cultivate self-love and radical self-acceptance
What you will need for practice:
- a yoga mat
- two 2.5″ myofascial balls in a tote
- one or two folded towels or small blankets
- optional – two yoga blocks
- optional – yoga strap or belt
