What is body-mind healing and how can it help you?
Body-mind approaches incorporate mindfulness practices, somatic movement re-education, sensory integration, and other body oriented self-regulation techniques to help clients heal emotional, mental, and physical symptoms. Clients learn to develop greater self-awareness, emotional regulation skills, skillful movement patterns, and improved capacity for presence and resilience.

How to get started with body-mind approaches
Radiance Therapy & Wellness is a somatic occupational therapy and somatic wellness practice based in San Luis Obispo, CA. We offer in-office, online, or in-home therapy and wellness programs.
Body-mind approaches are incorporated into all of our programs.
If you are receiving this work in person, body-mind approaches consist of gentle hands on connective tissue work, performed while on a massage table, in addition to facilitated body mind dialogue practices or guided somatic movement re-education exercises.
If you live out of the area, remote somatic wellness coaching offerings can include somatic exercises, mindfulness practices, body dialogue, somatic focused inner parts dialogue, and movement re-education.
The primary principle of the body mind approaches is that we all have an innate healer within and with skilled guidance we can remove the obstacles in the way of accessing our body intelligence so we can live our most radiant life.
